Hi everyone,

I hope you all have had a fantastic and safe Easter!! I am back at work now after a lovely and relaxing short time off work. I have been really busy the last few weeks so I apologise for not posting anything for a while. My eldest daughter just turned 18! I can't believe I am the mother of an adult...

So, as I haven't crafted in a while I thought I would have a play with the new Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks and see what I could come up with. This is the result.....

I used the Oxide inks to create the backgrounds. Once dry I stamped them and hand painted the images using a range of acrylic paints. I then allowed them to dry and stamped Tim Holtz sentiments on each card. Next I decorated with sticky back crystal flourishes and ribbon.

Easter Greetings

Hello everyone!!

The biggest belated HAPPY EASTER greetings to you all. I have been super busy and have not had a lot of time to craft *sad face*... but I do have something that I think is beautiful to share with you today and another that is going live on Friday....

This is a page from one of my journals. This one was painted a couple of years ago and was one of my very first journal pages. I was painted freehand without even sketching first. I love how it turned out..... Let me know what you think......

                                    

The beautiful butterfly's were decoupaged using paper napkins..... some of the flowers and dandelion were painted from flowers in my garden.
